From the Office of the SGA Vice President:

As a representative body of the students of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach campus, it is the responsibility of all members to ensure that we have accurate representation of our constituents. As such, it is the responsibility of this body to fill any vacancies that occur in a timely and efficient manner. We, the members of the SRB, establish these guidelines to serve as a guide for filling any vacancies that should occur. We do this with an eye toward serving the student body, attempting to establish processes that will fill the vacancies quickly and efficiently while ensuring that no unqualified candidates obtain office.

How to apply:
Come by the SGA office to pick up a packet!
The packets are due by September 11, 2017 at 5:00 PM back to the SGA Office.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have attended ERAU full-time for one previous semester.
  • Candidates must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  • Candidates must be taking at least (6) credits for Undergraduate students and at least (3) credits for Graduate students during the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters.
  • Candidates must not be on Academic or Judiciary Probation.
  • Candidates must be available for SRB Meetings every Tuesday afternoon from 12:45pm until 2:00pm.
  • If elected, candidates must be able to provide (3) hours of office hours per week in the Student Government Association Office.
  • If elected, candidate will serve during the Fall 2017 through Spring 2018 semesters.
  • Applications MUST be turned in no later than 5PM on Monday, September 11, 2017 to the Student Government Association Office. Applications turned in after 5:00 PM, will not be considered, and will be marked as a late application.
